THE CONVERSATION

Commissioned by the Bernalillo County Public Art Program, “The Conversation” was
conceived as a revealing look inside a common site: crows perched in a tree’s upper
branches. The crows are made from the exhaust piping of an old Chevy, and the
branches from structural and salvaged automotive steel. Viewers are compelled to
answer the question: what is this conversation about?
