CRANE is a unique, oversized sculpture of a sandhill crane, installed at  the Industrial Arts Building on the campus of New Mexico Jr. College in Hobbs, NM. It is constructed from repurposed car metal and industrial scrap steel,  a motorcycle frame,  cold steel rod and rebar.  Standing  9’1” tall and in mid-stride, Crane is gesturally realistic, representing a contrast to its sister piece, Flyway, which is an abstract homage to sandhill crane migration.
